T. Gabbard: ‘Trump Supports Al Quaeda’

Tulsi Gabbard accuses President Trump of prostituting the United States after he vetoed a congressional resolution in April, 2019 calling for an end of U.S. involvement in the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

Trump has however, long expressed a desire to withdraw troops but has repeatedly walked back his plans after push-back from military leaders and lawmakers over fears that a sudden emptying of troops would create a vacuum for malign groups.

Gabbard also cited Trump’s “support and alliance with Saudi Arabia that is both providing direct and indirect support directly to Al Qaeda,” speaking to “Fox News” after the debate, Aug, 2019.

Gabbard, who met Syria’s President Assad in 2017 during a Middle East trip, does not want America to be involved militarily in Syria, where Assad has waged war against his people, committing atrocities such as chemical weapons attacks on civilians and torturing and murdering his opponents.

This meeting with Assad raised eyebrows which occurred without the top Democrats knowledge. Gabbard herself has been criticized for her ties to far-right leaders and her fixation on “radical Islam.”
