Please note that this article is not to do with the case for Derek Chauvin (that is the Courts job), but as a criticism towards Maxine Waters and her colleagues who are irresponsibly pandering to the mob.
You have to ask yourself, how is this ‘not’ inciting violence. She clearly says that everyone should be “more confrontational” if Chauvin – the police officer on trial for killing George Floyd – is not convicted of murder.
“We’ve got to stay in the streets, and we’ve got to demand justice,” Waters said during a rally on Sunday. “We’re looking for a guilty verdict. And if we don’t, we cannot go away,” she added. “We’ve got to get more confrontational.”
Maxine Waters passed judgement and said the defendant is ‘… guilty, guilty, guilty…’ before the trial had ended. This is just plain wrong from someone who purports to be a respected US Congresswoman.
To make matters worse, you have the Democrat Party standing by Maxine Waters remarks and behaviour.
Speaking to reporters, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, said the Republicans criticism of her was “a dishonest distraction” and “absurd,” adding that the chairwoman’s remarks did not amount to a call for violence.
“I think it’s a totally phony effort to distract from what the Republicans know is rhetoric of so many of their members, which in effect has aided and abetted and condoned violent activity,” Steny Hover (Democrat) said.
Judge for yourself.
Waters moved to convict former President Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial, over accusations that he “incited” an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
By her own standards, Maxine Waters should be impeached and removed.
