Schumer and Pelosi sneak funding into the stimulus package to save them from their own failures. Democratic lawmakers are abusing the new COVID relief bill to save themselves from their own failures at the expense of the American taxpayer.
Democrats like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Leader Chuck Schumer claim they are creating the relief packages for the common man and woman but when you take a closer look, you will realize their bill is jam packed with personal agendas.
The new stimulus package will be erasing San Francisco’s projected $650 million deficit which grew as a result to Democrats’, specifically Nancy Pelosi’s, poor management. The package will also be erasing Chuck Schumer’s deficit in New York.
Spokesman for Schumer, Angelo Roefaro tweeted of the “American Rescue Plan,” “Ok. Thanks to @SenSchumer NYS budget deficit for this year is…..Zero, nada, niete, zilch (NY terms).”
“The American Rescue Plan provides state government coffers with $12.6 billion in unrestricted aid, a measure championed by Schumer, the New York senior senator,” The New York Post reported.
Asked if the geyser of pandemic relief eliminates the needs for tax hikes or spending cuts, Roefaro told The Post, ‘the statement speaks for itself. … How NY decides its budgetary policy is a matter for the state legislature and the administration. Our job was to deliver resources to help NY confront and overcome Covid and its impacts, including the fiscal impact. And we did that fully and completely.’

While the federal stimulus is a boon for the economy in the short term, it will not solve all of the city’s financial woes. San Francisco’s ultimate recovery heavily depends on how quickly parts of the local economy bounce back, from tourists visiting the city to employees returning to downtown offices.
Democrats are the epitome of corruption. Instead of managing their states’ budgets in a responsible manner, they rely on bailing themselves out at the expense of the American taxpayer when their negligence comes back to bite them.
Both House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have labelled the bill a Democratic ‘wish list.
