Thousands of workers were forced into self-isolation after coming into close contact with COVID-19-infected persons, leaving shelves at major grocery chains empty.
Major supermarkets have begun a hiring spree in order to replenish workers at stores and warehouses affected by COVID layoffs and isolation.
