Was the El Paso Shooter a Trump Supporter?

The Ohio mass murderer was Connor Betts, 24.

“#2016ElectionIn3Words This is bad” and “Vote blue,” and “I want socialism, and I’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding.”

A Twitter account allegedly identified to be Betts, showed he supported socialist causes and was a supporter of presidential candidate Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren

On the Twitter page, the writer indicated he’d vote for Elizabeth Warren (Democrat) for president but not Kamala Harris, responding to a person’s tweet suggesting they be co-presidents.

“Nahh, but only cuz Harris is a cop – Warren I’d happily vote for.”

He shared an article that criticized Democratic leaders like Nancy Pelosi for not supporting Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley. “Read it,” he wrote. He shared posts about “concentration camps” at the border and wrote, “Cut the fences down. Slice ICE tires. Throw bolt cutters over the fences.”

Besides that, in high school, Betts was known to have talked about killing people and made a “kill list” of male students and a “rape list” of female students. He posted a lot on social media. He ended one tweet with: “#selfie4satan #HailSatan @SatanTweeting.”

This murderer was obviously evil and disturbed. But the press ignored his political views, and ignored his Satanism and fascination with evil. Rather, they summised his actions as being Trump inspired.

Joe Biden

Democrat Joe Biden delivered his Iowa speech condemning Trump for having “fanned the flames of white supremacy”. The “logic”? Betts was racist, Trump is racist—therefore, Trump is responsible.

Betts also shot his own sister.

Trump and the El Paso Shooter

Media have launched into identifying the underlying threat that causes mass shootings. They quickly focused onto two: lack of gun control, and white nationalism—then blamed the president of the United States for both.

“Tech companies are willing to work more closely with law enforcement to fight white nationalist terrorism, but the industry is skeptical of the White House’s seriousness on the issue.,”

The Washington Post blamed President Donald Trump’s use of “us-against-them language about immigrants.”

Former President Barack Obama identified the underlying threat as “gun laws,” “racist ideologies,” “white supremacy” and “language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred and normalizes racist sentiments ….”

One would be lead to believe that the big threat in America today is white nationalism cultivated by President Trump. Why does the Left insist on this racist smear?

The 21-year-old El Paso murderer is not a conservative or even a Trump follower.

A 2300 word manifesto written by the shooter was discovered and the writer appears to have posted that he views Hispanic immigrants as a threat to the United States, not because they are racially inferior but because their numbers will jeopardise free universal health care, universal basic income and the environment:

It read, “If we can get rid of enough people, then our way of life can become more sustainable.”

If the content in the manifesto is conclusively linked to the El Paso shooter, the federal authorities may treat the attack as a hate crime or an incident of domestic terrorism.

Next time you watch television and see Trump attackers asked to produce evidence of his racism, they normally default to two topics: Charlottesville and the Border.  Regarding the tragic incidents of Charlottesville in 2017, President Trump never called neo-Nazis “very fine people” and, in reality, he “totally condemned” the supremacists who attended.

On the topic of the Border, when Trump said it was a crisis, the left said it was a manufactured fake crisis. When it was proven that the border control was actually in crisis, the left pointed the finger at Trump.

A Democratic dominated Congress would rather spend the last 2 years+ on a Russian Collusion claim that turned out to be false. The same Congress who prevented additional funds being appropriated to improving the border conditions for immigrants, but then they blamed Trump for the over crowded conditions.

Democratic Nominees Update

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has set a stricter criteria for the third set of debates, which will be held on Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 in Houston. If 10 or fewer candidates qualify, the debate will take place on only one night.

Candidates will need to have 130,000 unique donors and register at least 2 percent support in four polls.

The Candidates have until Aug. 28 to reach those benchmarks.

A New York Times analysis of polls and donor numbers shows that only 10 to 12 candidates are likely to make the third round.

Eight candidates have already met both qualification thresholds and are guaranteed a spot onstage. They are:

  • Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.
  • Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey
  • Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind.
  • Senator Kamala Harris of California
  • Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota
  • Former Representative Beto O’Rourke of Texas
  • Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont
  • Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts

What is the difference between a Senator vs. Representative? The US congress consists of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. Representatives have specific districts that elect them, while Senators are elected by the state as a whole

2020 Democrats Blame Trump

2020 Democrats have been blasted on social media for linking Trump to the El Paso shooting. The mass shooting that killed 20 people and wounded up to 26 others.

The alleged gunman turned himself in to law enforcement after the shooting on Saturday. He exited his vehicle in the parking lot and walked over to law enforcement vehicles where he was arrested without incident.

As the country stood aghast over its latest spasm of gun violence, Trump ordered for flags to be flown at half-mast for five days. He told reporters on Sunday that “hate has no place in our country”, but also blamed mental illness for the violence.

“We have to get it stopped. This has been going on for years … and years in our country,”

“There’s no benefit here in trying to make this a political issue, this is a social issue and we need to address it as that,” Mick said on ABC, August, 2019.

Republican White House Chief of Staff
Cory Booker

“Donald Trump is responsible for this. He is responsible because he is stoking fears and hatred and bigotry.”

Cory Booker, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate
Beto O’Rourke

Beto believes Trump is a white nationalist whose anti-immigrant rhetoric stoked divisions. “Let’s be very clear about what is causing this and who the president is,” O’Rourke said on CNN. “He is an open avowed racist and is encouraging more racism in this country.”

Beto O’Rourke, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate
Bernie Sanders

“We must come together as a nation to reject this dangerous and growing culture of bigotry espoused by Trump and his allies.”

Bernie Sanders , 2020 Democratic presidential candidate
Pete Buttigieg

“The White House cannot shirk its responsibility in shaping the public discourse. There’s no question that white nationalism is condoned at the highest levels of our government.”

Pete Buttigieg , 2020 Democratic presidential candidate
Julian Castro

“He’s spoken about immigrants as being invaders. He’s given license for this toxic brew of white supremacy to fester more and more in this country, and we’re seeing the results of that.”

Julian Castro, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate

Federal authorities are treating the El Paso mass shooting as a case of domestic terrorism.

The Republican mayor of El Paso also discounted any race element to the Texas shooting, saying the gunman was disturbed. “He was deranged, he was evil … Pure evil as far as I can characterize it,”

Democrats Race for Presidency 2020

The Democrats are going through a process this year to determine who will enter the race for President in 2020 vs, Donald Trump.

There are presently 24 Democratic Candidates, and a series of televised debates will help determine who is best for the job. Two debates have already taken place, with a third one to be held on 12th September, 2019.

To qualify for the third debate, Candidates must meet both a polling and donor threshold: At least 2 percent in four national DNC-approved polls and at least 130,000 unique donors, coming from at least 400 unique donors in 20 or more states.

As of this current time, only seven candidates have announced that they meet all the requirements, the others have until 28th August to meet the qualification requirements.

National polls are a flawed tool for predicting elections. But the broad national picture is still important, offering a sense of which candidates are gaining support overall. The Candidates with 10% or more ratings are:

Joseph R, Biden, 30% Rating

Joe Biden is leading but has faced criticism, most recently for saying he worked well with segregationists in the past.

Elizabeth Warren, 14% Rating

Elizabeth Warren, is gaining support with detailed plans on universal child-care, opioid addiction and abortion rights, in addition to her calls for regulating big banks and the market.

Bernie Sanders, 14% Rating

Bernie Sanders is back after a strong run in 2016 with proposals rooted in democratic socialism, such as free public university and Medicare for all.

Kamala Harris, 12% Rating

Kamala Harris’ background as a prosecutor may play well against President Trump, but could hurt her amid rollbacks of tough sentencing laws that especially affect African Americans.
